Texas Offering Two Volunteer Management Conferences!

Waco - 25th Annual Texas Volunteer Conference There's No Such Thing as 'Just a Volunteer'

February 25 & 26 at McLennan Community College in Waco

Almost every non-profit, public agency or health-care facility is stressed by reduced funds, inadequate staffing or changing needs. Every organization needs volunteers to sustain goals, but not all managers have the skills to maintain an engaged and productive board, committees, volunteers, or fund-raising assistants. Volunteer managers can help build the capacity of their agency by learning the skills needed to manage unpaid staff and by establishing ethical, best practices to lead their service partners.  More details at http://www.tano.org/en/cev/1044.

North Texas - Texas Volunteer Management Conference

Friday March 5 at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie.

This conference is the largest of its kind in the Southwest. It is packed with workshops specifically for all Managers of Volunteers such as: Public Speaking for Volunteer Managers, Volunteer Management 101, Engaging Boomers in Your Program, and more!   Click on www.texasvmc.org for all the info.    You get an educational opportunity, networking, breakfast, lunch, a goody bag, fun, and nationally know speaker, Mac Fulfer J.D. presenting "Amazing Face Reading" for only $95.00. Early registration ends February 26th.  More details at http://www.tano.org/en/cev/1064.
